Even the university doesn’t know how to spell Holzapfel Hall

We weren’t going to go after the Washington Post for misspelling “Holzapfel Hall” in a blog post because, let’s face it, Campus Drive doesn’t really get to criticize blog posts for being less than professional.

As it turns out though, it wasn’t (entirely) the Post‘s fault — the building’s name is also misspelled, several times, as “Holzapel Hall” in the university press release that the blog post is based on. This we do not have a particular problem laughing at.

And, to make matters worse, neither document offered any guidance on how the heck to pronounce the word. We’re going to stick with “Hufflepuff.”

As for the story, it appears that we’ll have a new building on the mall for the 2016 school year. And it should be amazing — at $63 million, its price tag is more than double that of the new Knight Hall. Read about it in tomorrow’s Diamondback.
